Recently, Fission Uranium CEO Dev Randhawa was interviewed by Stock Radio where he discussed Fission’s background, PLS and the global demand for uranium, which he asserts is rising.

Fission’s past, present and future

Dev introduces Fission Uranium as a “son of a son of a son” – indicating Fission’s extensive history since 1996. He discusses Fission’s niche, which is to “take raw land, find uranium on it, develop it and then sell it.” He goes on to say that Fission’s primary business is “exploring and developing uranium assets in Canada.”

Dev discusses the PLS (Patterson Lake South) project in Saskatchewan, the potential of the project and the positive outlooks given by independent parties of the project. He explains that confidence in PLS has allowed Fission to sell just under 20% of the company to CGN Mining.

Dev talks about the project location and specifically the basin itself and the quality of the available resources at PLS. He discusses the next steps in terms of the PLS project and highlights that there have been more difficulties with the spot price of uranium as opposed to the project itself.

Thoughts on Uranium

Dev’s thoughts on the price of uranium leads him to discuss the wider issues concerning the price of uranium, including the reluctance to buy uranium when it’s cheaper in price. Dev remarks that it’s “our biggest frustration.”

Presentation on PLS

In parallel to his interview, Dev recently presented at a recent uranium conference in San Francisco, California. In his presentation, Dev discusses PLS and the progress that’s been made during the project as well as future plans.
